Garmin has released the Forerunner 405 GPS-enabled sports watch.

 

ANT+ sport wireless technology transfers your workout data to your computer whenever you're within range - it just connects so it's easy.

 

And during a run the Forerunner 405 will accurately track your distance, heart rate* and your pace. It will also tracks calories burned. All the information is displayed on a clear, easy view screen.

 

There's no need to mess about with fiddly buttons anymore. You just tap and slide a finger on the touch bezel and you can change information as easily as choosing a song on your iPod Touch. There's even an optional foot pod that can be used for gathering speed and distance information indoors.

 

The ANT+Sport wireless technology needs no cables or hook-ups. It just ports the data for you. And there's a new web-based application called Garmin Connect to let you analyse and share your workouts.
